Storm Chaser Sunflowers and Larkspur is the newest small painting in the studio, created after big thunderstorms left North Texas and headed east today. They're predicting sunshine for tomorrow, so that should make the transition back to the desk job a bit easier, though I'll be thinking of my paintbrushes fondly all the while I'm away. I wanted to paint something a little frivolous and lighthearted to put the cap on a really nice weekend.

The studio models are looking perky and fresh!
