I did this small miniature oil painting to demonstrate Aspen trees in the snow. I put a little bird in the painting. The painting makes me think how cold the weather has been all over.

I was just thinking of cooler weather and my childhood home.  In the winter the blizzard winds create white-outs.  One second you can see bits and pieces of the landscape; the next you see nothing.  I love the tall pines in the north.  "Blizzard" combines the trees and the snow....wishfull thinking since it was 113 at my pool yesterday, now it says 116!!!!
