After yesterday's post I got a couple of comments suggestiong the onion didn't look so much like an onion. Yikes! But hey, I can take some good honest criticism ... I'm good. The nice thing about this format is ... you can't see me cry. : ) This is my third attempt. A little more oniony?

I decided to do a whole series like this. I used a different light than I generally use so that it would be softer (sometimes also better for flowers). I normally use a daylight spotlight bulb, but for this I used a "true" white bulb I got forever ago at a specialty lightbulb store.

The title of this one has absolutely nothing to do with anything other than the fact that I had a glass of wine and I'm feeling a little silly. : ) But it may be my favorite of the peaches. There is something about stripes that is ... mesmerising.

Please forgive my lack of posting the last couple of days. I was taking a little break. I have to remind myself sometimes to get out of the studio. To replenish my creativity but also to just ... relax. And spend time getting other stuff done. It feels good.
