"Don't Lose your Head" Onion Painting by Austin Contemporary Artist Carol Marine

"Don't Lose Your Head"

After yesterday's post I got a couple of comments suggestiong the onion didn't look so much like an onion. Yikes! But hey, I can take some good honest criticism ... I'm good. The nice thing about this format is ... you can't see me cry. : ) This is my third attempt. A little more oniony?

Simple Breakfast 2 Still Life by Texas Artist Carol Marine

"Simple Breakfast 2"

Striped Success Still Life Painting of striped TableCloth Oranges and a coffee cup by Texas Artist Carol Marine

"Striped Success"

The title of this one has absolutely nothing to do with anything other than the fact that I had a glass of wine and I'm feeling a little silly. : ) But it may be my favorite of the peaches. There is something about stripes that is ... mesmerising.

Side Dish Contemporary Fine Art by Texas Artist Carol Marine

"Side Dish"

Please forgive my lack of posting the last couple of days. I was taking a little break. I have to remind myself sometimes to get out of the studio. To replenish my creativity but also to just ... relax. And spend time getting other stuff done. It feels good.

Obnoxious Stack by Texas Artist Carol Marine

"Obnoxious Stack"

See how the stack on the right is leaning a bit close to the left stack? Where's the personal space? Huh? -- I really enjoy doing these stacks.  Carol
