This is my 4th in a new series of western themed paintings.    It is a collage of paint and patterns on canvas.  It was inspired from a photo shoot at the Chapman Family Round up in Aledo, Texas.
This painting is part of an invitational show "Texas and the West" at the  Ft. Worth Library.  We installed the show on Saturday and it will hang until end of February.
The reception is Sunday, February 15, 2015 2:00 - 4:00. Please make plans to attend.

It was a real delight to see and smell the new blooms of blue bonnets.  They have a fragrant scent that can't be beat.  I painted this on Sunday afternoon. It was a perfect spring day with warm temperatures and low winds. This is available for purchase. $150.00

This was painted at Lake Granbury's Hunter Park on Saturday. This was the second painting I did that day. When I first drove up I couldn't see this tractor through the fog.  By the time I got to painting it the sun was just right. It was a challenge, but a lot of fun to paint.
