I had a blast painting these flowers!  I don't know what kind of flowers they are.  The tag said "stock."  Their fragrance filled my studio, which was amazing.  Don't you love having fresh flowers in the house?  It is such a treat!

I continue to work on three larger pieces and they are coming along.  I have to say that there still is a struggle, but it is lessening with each day and I am now looking forward to each challenge that comes my way.  I'm learning so much.  Happy, happy, happy!!!

How did December arrive so quickly?  Our tree is up and decorated and more decorations will be added this evening.  Some presents have been bought and are ready to be wrapped.  Still more to be purchased, cookies to be baked, cards to send.  Christmas is almost here!!  Busy and exciting!

This is another painting of Jean Townsend.  I wanted to paint her again and decided to use a larger support.  It was a bit of a struggle, but I am satisfied with the result.  This is also posted in Some Texas Artists Like to Paint for the January challenge.
