Slug Bug, New Contemporary Painting by Sheri Jones

This cute red bug was like a beacon when I saw it in the morning light.  I was on my way to meet a friend and paint in the Glen Rose area. I stopped and gathered reference photos and was on my way.  Painting this old bug brought back fond memories of me zipping around in my VW back in the day.
