Missed The Boat by Kay Wyne

Missed The Boat
12" x 12" Oil on RayMar Cotton Panel
Contemporary Palette Knife Painting
The rusty old dingy is tied up to a rock on the shore.  The rocks were painted with a palette knife, so they are textural with the water washing up over them.  This painting is framed in a handsome dark mahogany moulding.  My inspiration for this painting was a dingy tied up in a small fishing village in Maine.  It caught my eye---and I had to paint it!  Thanks for looking at my blog.  Contact Kay for purchasing info.  KMW
