Purple Thistle, New Contemporary Landscape Painting by Sheri Jones

This was painted in Waxahachie, Texas during the Paint Historic Waxahachie event. 
There were threats of storms and the clouds were moving. The sun did come out and it turned into a beautiful day. The purple thistle were eye popping against the soft green field.
