This small painting was completed in the studio yesterday. I need to sign it and let dry before framing it up. I had lots of great colors on my palette, and loved playing with the roses, reds, corals, violets and greys. My intention was to get the palette knife out, but stuck with my flat brush. I mixed and mixed my colors for this painting, but was careful not to mix them on the canvas, just putting the paint down, and not going back into it, making each stroke count.
