Contemporary Still Life Painting
This contemporary oil painting has been drying at the studio. It is on a chunky (2 1/2") stretcher bar, and sides of the canvas are painted. So frame is optional. The colors are crisp and clean. I was careful not to mix my oils too much, which could lead to the dreaded MUD. The corals, oranges and rosey colors pop with the grey/blue background.
