Contemporary Equine Painting
This painting is completed after starting it months ago, and putting it aside when I got frustrated with the painting surface. I used a fine linen, and it didn't have enough tooth or texture. So I put it away and decided to pull it out earlier this month. I have been working on cleaning up my work station at the studio, and pulled several painting out that are needing some attention. Even though this is on a small canvas, I wanted to keep the brush strokes loose, colorful and energetic. Today is day 25 in the 30 Painting in 30 Days Challenge.
