Snapdragons and Sunflowers was my demonstration painting today for the third day of my Irving, Texas workshop. One of the attendees told me a cool secret about snapdragons, something I never knew before - can you guess what it was? In this three day workshop, we painted sunflowers, snapdragons, hydrangeas, daisies, and red poppies, as well as  a few white roses and oranges. We painted white china with lacy blue patterns and talked about how to make warm and cool colors work together to give your flower paintings a real burst of color power.

Snapdragons take a bow!
