This was painted in the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens yesterday morning. I met up with "The Doug Club" and about 10 other artist.
I used water based oil paints and a really limited palette. I could not mix the right pink, so I introduced a magenta for the flowers. I am limiting my palette and switching to water based paints in anticipation of a trip to Italy. The combination of both made this painting a real challenge. I did paint it with a palette knife and that was familiar. This is available for purchase. $200.00
