Siren Song Sunflowers by Texas Artist Nancy Medina
Siren Song Sunflowers is a new small work in the studio, and unexpected painting that nudged its way into being when I should have been working on a 64 inch wide container garden! But the studio models were beckoning with their come hither yellow petals, and every time I grabbed a paint brush one of them would practically grab my hand. So of course I had to stop everything and paint them! No matter how many flowers I paint, sunflowers are always going to capture me. They are my kryptonite.
