Starling Purple and Blue Irises is based on the jewel tones and purple irises of Argyle Acres Iris Garden in Argyle, Texas. The mild winter has been teasing my irises into thinking it is spring. While I'm hoping for a few early blossoms, I remember what Joe and Donna Spears, owners of Argyle Acres, said last year - it's not good for the irises to bloom too early. I'll just have to be patient!
