Dappled Light Blue Hydrangeas is the newest painting in the studio, and the work week is almost over, and 49 years is about to become 50 for me in two days. For two days a year, my sister Julie and I are the same age. Today she turned 49. I found a snazzy red walker online, and posted that on her facebook page this morning. I am one of the lucky ones, one of the blessed ones, to have a sister like Julie. I think so many of us who blog connect in that way with one another, and build sisterhoods across the miles. So even if you do not have a sister whose birthday you share, thank goodness for the Web to tie us together in friendship!
