Store Bought Sunflower is a new small work in Flower Mound Studio, as I make some progress on a large still life for a client. Sunflowers are definitely favorites, and it's a bit sad they are so hard to find in my grocery store this time of year. After three visits in a row with no sunflowers to be found there, I was forced to find respite in the candy aisle, and really didn't feel good again until I purchased two extra large bags of Dove milk chocolates.
