This was a painting I created as a demonstration for the Ellis County Art Association in Waxahachie. This was the same day as a hugh chemical fire. There were warnings they were evacutating the area and closing the freeway into town. I'm glad I ignored all the warnings and went down anyway. Most of the drama was generated by the news media and as it turned out the air was safe and the freeways were open. We had a pretty good group despite all the drama of the day.
