Home Soon Blue and White Hydrangeas is the last large painting I will be able to coax from my studio models, I think. They have held up for more than a week now despite the humid Texas weather. I had to travel to San Francisco for a few days and was certain that when I returned this morning they would be faded and done, droopy and dry. Fortunately, the hubby fed and watered them, just as diligently as he fed and watered my little thundering herd of puglets! Flowers perky - check. Puglets fat and sassy - check! It's always good to come home, but especially nice to arrive home to a bunch of happy pugs and beautiful blossoms. Visit my art blog to see this painting under construction (hard hat, apron, and steel toed boots optional...).
