Tip the Sky Blue Iris by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina
Tip the Sky is my newest blue iris painting, and was a small study for a 30X24 painting this evening of the same subject. I've got irises all over the studio today, but I think I'll work on that large painting just a bit longer. I noticed all my blue irises in the big painting line right up like little soldiers across the canvas. It's funny how sometimes I don't spot these obvious errors until I see the image on the computer screen!
