Sisterhood Hydrangeas is a new painting, one that I wasn't at all sure I could complete today but I'm really glad I did. Thank you to everyone who sent prayers, good thoughts, and words of encouragement - my breast biopsy today went fine. I was really fortunate to have a great doctor, and she was fast and did everything she could to make sure it was painless as possible. As I lay there, I thought about every one of you and what you said, and the experiences and good thoughts and prayers that I knew were coming my way. I cannot tell you how much that helped, and how much it still and always will mean to me. As one friend said tonight, our social media has allowed the friend and sister circle to be large and embracing. Thank you to each of you for that embrace. It carried me.
