Full Moon Iris Blooms is the newest painting in a studio that is very quiet. All the televisions are off, all the pugs are sound asleep, and AnnieBee has taken a 10 minute break from barking at the crickets. This week I shipped a painting to a lovely lady in Canada who commissioned a Monarch butterfly for her home. The butterfly symbolizes a beautiful memory for her of her husband who passed away recently. It is my prayer and wish that this little creature will bring comfort and good memories when it arrives safely home. Hopes, prayers, and friendship may seem insubstantial, but they have the power to sustain us.
