A Dream and a Wish Hydrangeas is a new rose painting drying in Flower Mound Studio today, while I work on a pet portrait commission for a friend. I'll share the steps of the portrait commission with you step by step, as this little angel girl finds her way onto a canvas as a surprise gift for her mom in Santa Fe, NM.

Wishing you all cool weather today, as a severe heat warning grips North Texas. Please keep your critters indoors and cool, where they belong. My fatties think they belong indoors, cool, well fed, and smack dab in the middle of the King sized bed, or on the best spot on the couch, or in my lap when I'm trying to type up my blog. I think you get the picture. According to Howard Pee Pugpants, "maw, it's just how we roll here in Flower Mound Studio."
