How many times have you heard the comment she is pretty as a picture?  The portrait painting in the background makes me think she is saying this about the roses.  Many times I am ask what type of painting do I paint.  You might call this a still life but I rather to refer to my paintings as a alive life.  My set ups are alive with color, emotion, and beautiful objects.  May your day be as pretty as a picture that you have in your mind and may you find your easel friendly.
