August Rose is drying on the easel in Flower Mound Studio, and was a small study for the new four-foot container garden in progress. I've shared a peek at my new container garden here for you, and I'm happy with this one, it is my first to include roses! Roses are not easy to paint, in fact I've been studying them for years and still am not even close to having a comfort level with them.
