Yellow Roses and Hydrangeas is my newest floral painting, as I celebrated the best birthday present this week - my work featured in American Art Collector Magazine. I've cut and paste the issue for you below to give you a peek. The March floral issue is full of colorful paintings, including my painting, Silent Serendipity White Poppies. I was so excited I immediately ordered a few extra copies, with one posted fedex to mom!

Take a peek at my art blog to see a few of the steps in creating Yellow Roses and Hydrangeas. As you can see, I let my imagination run a bit wild and added some elements that were not in the setup. It's been a great week in the studio, with paintings shipping to clients in New York, California, and New England. My new Light Dome tent arrived in two huge boxes, so the stars are aligning for Artscape at the Dallas Arboretum. Join me there in Booth 54 March 18-20 for a few days in the sun among the tulips, azaleas and cherry blossoms. It is going to be great!
