Citrus Tableau is the newest painting in Flower Mound Studio, as I attempt to explain to the fatties that my 2 week holiday is ending tomorrow. It's back to the office on Monday, in order to keep the puggies in the manner to which they are accustomed!

Citrus Tableau was a fun work because I love to paint on larger canvases - I've been using up my 16X20 canvases because I am almost out of the small ones. The hubby has a job interview next week and if the news is good, I'll be ordering more canvases soon. I'm painting carnations this week because they are the brightest flowers in the market this time of year, and I adore them, even though you don't see them in paintings often. These hardy little flowers have been hanging out in a chilly studio for two days, and are still looking perky today. Again, my flower models sitting for no more than 99 cents a stem, and not requiring potty breaks or snacks in between sessions. How I do love flowers! Take a peek at my art blog to see the setup for Citrus Tableau.
