Red and Yellow - A Day at the Flower Market by Nancy Medina

Red and Yellow Flower Market is based on my trip a few months ago to the Santa Monica Farmers Market in Southern California, where flowers, fruit, veggies and fresh pastries were being sold by vendors to the sound of live music. I wish I had taken a photo of the bicycle valet parking attendants. These gentlemen in orange vests were carefully tagging and storing the dozens of bicycles of the wealthy locals, who lined up at the nearby cafes for cappuccinos and eggs benedict in their beautifully expensive dress downs. My husband bought veggies, while I stocked up on something completely different - take a peek at my blog to see what I bought.
