Purple Petunias is a new painting drying on the easel, while I gear up mentally for the next large container garden. I love these in-between project times, when I can paint anything I want, and my calendar is temporarily clear of commissions and commitments. It's like being on vacation in the studio! You can see the inspiration for Purple Petunias on my art blog. The petunias and morning glories are staging late season appearances this week, in celebration of the cooler weather in Dallas.
