"Wash A Shore", this is a small painting, 6" x 8", oil on canvas panel.
I stopped along the way to check this location. There had been a nice, white pond skiff anchored out just off shore last time I drove by. It was too late to paint it then, but maybe it was still here. I couldn't see it from where I parked and decided to clamber down the hill to check the beach. This little rowboat didn't register with my mind at first as I was still looking off shore for the skiff. I am now glad I took the time to get down to the beach...
