Sunflowers in a Purple Pot is a study completed for a small commission, and was fun to do in a fast, free style way. Not pictured is a little fat pug who is snoring away happily on her pillow nearby. I can't recall the last time I completed a painting that was not accompanied by the comforting sound of my four-footed, snoring studio supervisors. It sure makes life more fun to have these little ones around to keep me from taking things too seriously.
