A Bit of Heaven, Purple Iris, is a new painting I completed after finishing Lemon Parfait Bouquet yesterday. I waited until this afternoon to photograph A Bit of Heaven, hoping for better light. It was a little surprising to see the different colors that can come from different lighting situations, so I wanted to show them to you here. Take a peek at my art blog to see the irises that inspired A Bit of Heaven from Argyle Acres Iris Farm - the closest place to heaven I know of in iris bloom season!
