Orange Crush Tulips by Nancy Medina


Orange Crush Tulips is a continuation of my fling with small paintings this week, while the large one leans accusingly against a wall nearby, almost finished. I am not a master tulip painter, just a practitioner, so I've left the bigger image under here if you'd like to click and see my tulip travails a bit more up close and personal. These tulips are some of the brightest that bloomed last March at the Dallas Arboretum. Why is it the most beautiful flowers have such short seasons?
