Old Salt

OLD SALT
26"x20" transparent watercolor
by Debbie Cannatella, lws

This uppity pelican wasn't too pleased when I interrupted his nap to sketch him and take photos. In the short time I've lived in Corpus Christi, I have renewed my love of shore birds and turtles. I enjoyed the time I spent painting this guy - so much so, that I painted a second one of him, that I'll upload later. Title: "Old Salt", a 26"x20" transparent watercolor on 260lb. Arches archival paper.

  1. Debbie, the title just fits him perfectly. He is the Grand Master of the harbor! So regal and wonderful.
