This 6' x 7' commissioned mural was painted in acrylic on double doors for an office. I chose one of my old pick-up trucks as the "vehicle" to tell the story of my friend, whose nickname is actually "Bubba" and his two dogs traveling by a landmark just outside our little town. The hill is on land land that has been owned by various folks and it doesn't actually have a name, but some years it will be covered with bluebonnets, so we often call it Bluebonnet Hill. My primary medium is oil painting, but acrylic seemed the better choice for this project. I find it challenging and fun to do this kind of work.
