London, England
After an intense orientation session on how not to get mugged in Paris and how not to act like an Ugly American, I left for school in London in the summer of 1992, my last semester of College. London is a timeless combination of concrete, ancient stone, beauty and smog, crowds and castles. It was a bit head spinning for a country mouse like me to take in, but it was one of the best experiences of my life. Next time I'll bring more money, though; fish and chips got a bit old after four weeks....
