Celebration by Kay Wyne

Celebration
Celebration is on a 36" x 36" gallery wrap canvas with most of the paint applied with the palette knife. At times I thought I was frosting a cake. I spent about 2 months on this painting, and I am pretty sure that it is completed. The colors are bright and intense. This started out as one of the Horizon series paintings, but as most paintings do, changed about mid-stream. It was headed towards an urban city scape at one point. The eye moves around on this one.
