Greetings From the Poop Deck

Cheerfully waving greetings from the deck of shrimp boat Lady Emma, Port Bolivar, Texas, this fisherman was unaware of Hurricane Ike's impending fury just a few months later. This painting was completed after a 2007 Canvas by Canvas artist retreat to Galveston. Crystal Beach was obliterated, but fond memories of this beautiful peninsula remain with us.
