Crossroads

The subject in this painting was at a crossroads in her life and as she sat for me under the large magnolia tree, these wonderful shadows fell across her body, splitting her face in half, reminding me of the mask in Phantom of the Opera.
A truer portrait could not have been done. This is magnificent.
