6X8, Oil on Linen
Chantilly Lace - White Iris is one of my new works, completed with the help of my four-footed, snorfley studio assistants. Painting white flowers has been a wonderful way for me to get some exercise in my grays. I took the advice of Kevin MacPherson years ago and stocked up on the Gamblin gray family, and it has stood me in good stead. Granted, Kevin didn't actually speak to me, I was just one of the adoring minions who purchased his video.
I am listening to a new CD Along the Shore of Acadia by Tim Janis, with the soothing background noise of three pugs snoring. What could be a better way to enjoy a Friday?
Hi, Nancy, nice to meet you, thanks for visiting my blog! I love your whole art ethic- your studio helpers, the plants growing there, everything. Reminds me a lot of my studio and my furries and the orchid-ladies who keep me company while we listen to our favorite tunes. You and I might be soul-mates, who knows? I'll check back with you often to see your beautiful work. Love your florals!
ReplyDeleteI was chuckling reading your words on the Gray Family.
